Tagged Again

Yea, I got tagged again!

Okay here goes:

1. What was I doing 10 years ago?

I would have just finished 9th grade and probably spending most of my mornings doing pom practice while we prepared for completions to qualify for nationals and trying to avoid my family!! ( love her now of course!!:)

2. What were 5 things on my to-do list today?

Well this question is unfair b/c right now I am really busy and usually I'm SOO not! But today I had to call the doctor about sick kid #2, wait around for our contractor, plan a skit for the Yw to do a girls camp, pick out something to wear for Jed's goodbye party at work, finish reading the book for book club tonight!!, call friends to cancel park plans,,,, o wait I think that is more than 5!

3. Snacks I love:

It really changes... but I like most kind of chips and usually I just eat whatever snacks my kids leave behind. Also, any kind of candy is dangerous!!

4. Things I would do if I was a Billionaire: I would be like the girls on The Real Housewives of New York on Bravo.... Watch it! Also, I would share the money of course, with people and organizations I felt would benefit!

5. Places I lived:
Germantown, TN
Covington, Tn (does that count as a different place!!!)
Murfreesboro, TN

Happy Anniversary!

Over the weekend, (May 17th), Jed and I celebrated five years of marriage. (together almost 7 years now). We took an opportunity to get-away. Our girls stayed with Anut Megan....they love to be there!!! So at 11:00 on Saturday we were free!! First, we went to the mall. We decided we each got 100 dollars from our rebate to buy anything we wanted. I had no trouble spending mine.

Next, it was time for a movie. We went to see the new Chronicles of Narnia movie. It was good, but too long I thought. I have never read the books but I'm sure they are better than the movies.
After that, I went and had a pedicure and Jed went to a guitar store and drooled over $2,500 guitars. Then, we checked into our Bed and Breakfast place. It was called the Old Church House. It is literally an old church that someone remodeled and turned into a Bed and Breakfast. The next stop was Dinner to celebrate both the anniversary and the new job! We went to Firebirds and dropped a pretty penny or two there! Our last stop was Wal-mart ( doesn't every trip involve a trip to Walmart??) we stopped to pick up some books. I got the new Stephanie Meyer book ( who I now have a total obsession with) and Jed got all the Narnia books in one big book. We had the best day and I felt like royalty! ( o yea, I forgot to mention the massage I had at the B and B ) So, all and all We had a blast!

WE (he) Did It!!

Okay, well obviously I've been watching too much Dora... Anyways... After almost 5 months of interviewing and holding our breath. Jed has been offered a job with Helena Industries. He will be doing cost accounting instead of aduiting. (See I DO listen). He has informed his current job and starts in two weeks!! I am so proud of him. He has had a much better attitude during this process than I have. ( It's hard when there is nothing I do about it!!) He will have to work a little bit more hours... but we will all adjust the best we can. I love my man!! ( I know... cheesy)

Bridge, Tree, Tall mountain... (o sorry,, Dora's back!! )

Things I am Learning

Things I am Learning:

1. Juice boxes solve most, if not all problems.

2. Having an older or younger sister is hard.

3. I need two of everything.

4. Mostly, though, I have learned that my siblings have become my best friends ( I hope Claire and Annie make it that far).

If you learned something new this week write about it!!:) Much love to all!

Great Weekend

We had a really great weekend. We played with some friends. Then, on Saturday morning I got to go to yard sales ( a random hobby of mine) I ended up getting these really great teaching supplies from a former Kindergarten teacher. They are called folder games and they often are found in a typical kindergarten setting during center time or something like that. There were thirty different games and the box.!! It was a great deal ($5) and until I go back to the classroom Claire and Annie can play them!

Anyways, then Sat. night we went to O'Charley's with Jed's family. I haven't been there in a long time and it I think it has improved alot! My girls have so much fun playing with their cousin, Tessa!

Here are random pics from the weekend:

This week

This week has been a slow one. I've been spending a lot of time researching lots of fun stuff to do this summer. There are a lot of things we ( I) are looking forward to doing including: a weekly playgroup, the malco movies for kids, hopefully some swimming, going to the zoo and pink palace when they are free, I found a program that is free for kids where they do some stuff with nature.... I think its at the Litcherman Nature center but I can't remember off the top of my head.

Anyways, I'm hoping for a lot of fun to come! This weeks highlight would be going to the park on Wed with our friend Mandy who is great nanny to two little kids... She's also an awesome babysitter... if you want her number let me know!!:)

Annie makes this silly face all the time. She looks like a monkey!
