VICTORY or Defeat?

Today, while shopping Annie threw a fit in Kroger for a fruit cup. ( I mean at least it wasn't candy) So I'm wondering....Victory or Defeat? I wouldn't let her eat it in the store but I did let her eat in the car! Sticky hands and all.

The Tree

About two weeks, our family recieved some sad news. My Grandma and Grandpa Hiatt's Tree that was about 130 years old fell. I was a little surprised that I was so sad to hear about this tree. I mean it was just a tree right? Then I got to thinking it really was more than that. Many, Many of my early memories of my grandparents house involve that tree and a swing. I know over the years all of the grandchildren have enjoyed it as well. So, in a sense, I did fell that I had lost something.

So here is to the tree, one my mom played in and so did I, one I had hoped my daughters would be big enough to enjoy one day, and now I will just have to share the memories I have of that tree.
This is a picture of my anut Anita, Mom(miriam), and Roger Jr. I guess this was in the 70's.

Okay, some of you know some of you don't ... We are moving... Yes, a whole 5 miles (if that) away. We are going to have A REAL House with a yard and everything.... Right now I am slowly picking through things and trying to begin the "packing" process... Busy, Busy, Busy

We have been very busy the last 2 weeks ...I'm behind on all the pictures and stuff that I wanted to post...so I'll do my best with what time I have. Lately, I never seem to have my camera at the right time for example-- The 4th of July, or last night at my mom's house watching the kids do sparklers, or on Saturday when we took the kids to Home Depot and ended up going to this thing called Kids Corner where they both got orange aprons and made a bird house. Annie especially liked banging the hammer on the table! Yea! so here some pictures of other stuff we have been doing the last two weeks!

These Pics are a few of us going to celebrate our freind Liza's Birthday! We love them soo much and don't get to see them as much as we used to! The kids started off happy. We went to Bahama Breeze and they felt right at home while we waited! My eyes are weird in this pic but Liza looks great ...her ego is prego with #3... YIKES! Thats her hubbie, John, in the background!This is Annie in an adorable visor she came home with from school. They had a 4th of July parade of which I also have no pictures.

Annie can't stop putting her foot in Jed's mouth after church yesterday! It was so cute!
