Also, unrelated but funny story Claire was looking at some of Jed and I's engagement photos. We are leaning against a barn. She looked at me and said "Mommy, Daddy used to take you to the farm?" :) I thought that was soo funny!

Girl's Camp

I got the JOY of going to Girl's Camp again this year! I had a really great time! Going as a leader is so much more fun than going as girl! It was VERY hot this year... with no A/C but I survived with almost no bug bites! Each night I slept on the top bunk and it was HOT... I was hoping Girl's camp would be a chance for me to reflect and have some "me" time, instead I stayed up way too late, poured water on people, and ate I'm talking about Tons of candy! I was so impressed with these young girls because of their great love for God and Jesus Christ. They can teach us all so much about the power of faith in the simple and small things.

Rock Band~

I sucked it up on the guitar.. but I liked singing the best anyways! Ladell was pretty rockin with the mic and drums! We had SOO much fun! Jed was pretty decent on the guitar but sometimes had trouble hitting the last note for Bonus points!! Come on dude!

For Jewly's birthday... They rented out the movie theater at their apartment. We hooked up the game Rock Band to the big screen and got to work. Now, previous to this experience I didn't really understand the fascination with Rock Band and Guitar Hero.... but after one night of playing it until... 2 a.m.... Yes .. that's right...2 a.m..... I am hooked! Can't wait till we can do it again!! Everyone was awesome. Enjoy these photos of us ROCKING OUT!!

Princess Party!!

The Princess heard a story and played Princess Bingo.

This Friday, Claire was invited to Princess Party by Joleen and her girls. It was totally adorable. It was for girls ages 2 and 3/4 to 5. There were 12 princess who attended the event. Annie was also dressed up although she was technically too young to be "invited". Joleen's girls had fun being the girls "maidens" and helped serve them a fancy lunch of PB and J finger sandwiches and juice.
