All right, Last night Jed and I were having this discussion and it brought up an interesting question that I want everyone to respond to:
Did you marry the first person you started dating after your/his/her mission ( for my non-mormon friends out there what about the first person you started dating in college?) ?
I know random right? In case you are wondering, yes , I am the first girl Jed dated when he got home from his mission and even though we did break up in between once or twice ....

nope, I had one other boyfriend in college before I dated Andrew. nope for Andrew too, after he got off his mission he dated Erin first. hope that doesn't ruin your survey:)
No for Eric, Yes for me. But I dated way too many before my mish and I asked Eric out. So, I knew what I was looking for. Hee! Hee!
I have dated several RMs & am not married yet, (and probably won't snag one fresh off the mission at this age!), but the missionary I waited for, & then 'dear john'-ed at 18 months, married the first girl he dated after he got home.
No, not me. Yes, for Blake!
No for me, yes for John. I'm actually pretty sure you knew that but I just wanted to participate.
No for me, I dated lots of different people, it took me awhile to find Chad. And I'm not the first person Chad dated either.
Yes. But Richard and I were practically engaged by our last month on our missions anyway. No one else stood a chance in froze over Idaho.
Not even close. J had been off of his mission for 7-8 years when he met me. We won't discuss how many guys I dated...
no, I had 3 other boyfriends from serious to semi serious.
And for Corey, He had a girl friend From 17 to 24, Then we started dating when he was closer to 25. So technically I was his first college girlfriend, but I dont think that is the answer you were looking for.
I dated an RM pretty seriously before Dave, so that's a "no" for me, but I was Dave's first serious girlfriend after is mission.
Interesting survey - I'd love to hear the converstsation that led to it and what the results are!
